* Preservation of public resources such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, canals, telephones, electricity etc.


* To review other reform development activities at the Union level and recommend to the Upazila Nirbahi Officer if necessary.


* Encouraging people to use hygienic latrines.


* Registration of births and deaths, blind, beggars and destitutes.


* Conducting all types of census.


*Solving various problems, village court, Shalis, development, project implementation, government planning and implementation, providing various certificates including civil certificate, death certificate, inheritance certificate, safe water supply, conducting education programs, maintaining law and order, road- Construction of ghats, bridges, etc.
